New platform. In this course we'll learn how to create a project-based piping and instrumentation diagram using this new work flow. We'll also learn the basic functions of the program, become familiar with the desktop environment and the methodology behind the new work flows. I'll start by showing you how to open a project and then use the Project Manager function to create a new drawing.
Then I'll show you how to build a new drawing by adding pipelines, equipments, valves, in-line components and instrumentation. In addition, we'll discuss tagging concepts and adding annotations to your drawings. Last but not least, we'll see how to use the Data Manager feature to view, filter and manage the project database and run those standard engineering reports.
