Inervasi pada Rahang dan Gigi Nervus sensori pada rahang dan gigi berasal dari cabang nervus cranial ke-V atau nervus trigeminal pada maksila dan mandibula. Nervus Maxilla Cabang maksila nervus trigeminus mempersarafi gigi-gigi pada maksila, palatum, dan gingiva di maksila. Selanjutnya cabang maksila nervus trigeminus ini akan bercabang lagi menjadi nervus alveolaris superior. Nervus alveolaris superior ini kemudian akan bercabang lagi menjadi tiga, yaitu nervus alveolaris superior anterior, nervus alveolaris superior medii dan nervus alveolaris superior posterior. Nervus alveolaris superior anterior mempersarafi gingiva dan gigi anterior, nervus alveolaris superior medii mempersarafi gingiva dan gigi premolar serta gigi molar I bagian mesial, nervus alveolaris superior posterior mempersarafi gingiva dan gigi molar I bagian distal serta molar II dan molar III. Nervis Mandibulla Cabang awal yang menuju ke mandibula adalah nervus alveolar inferior.

Maxillary nerve

Saraf okulomotor adalah saraf ketiga dari dua belas saraf kranial. Saraf ini mengontrol sebagian besar gerakan mata, konstriksi pupil, dan mempertahankan terbukanya kelopak mata saraf kranial IV dan VI juga membantu pengontrolan gerakan mata. Nukleus dari saraf okulomotor dan troklearis berada di atas tegmentum otak tengah, Sedangkan nukleus dari saraf abdusen berada dibagian tegmentum pons yang menutupi lantai dari ventrikel 4. Saraf kranial ketiga menginervasi beberapa otot eksternal mata seperti rektus medial, rektus superior, rektus inferior, dan oblique inferior,serta sfingter pupil dan levato palpebrae yang berfungsi dalam mengangkat kelopak mata bagian atas. Pada gerakan mata terdapat substrat-substrat anatomi yang berperan yang terdiri dari struktur berikut:. Selain fungsi saraf okulomotor,troklearis, dan abdusen, saraf vestibular dan cerebellar juga memainkan peran penting dalam mengendalikan gerakan mata. Lesi apapun yang mempengaruhi struktur supranuclear dapat menjadi penyebab paresis gerakan mata horisontal atau vertikal atau internuclear ophthalmoplegia INO.


Innervasi Saraf (1)

The maxillary nerve V 2 is one of the three branches or divisions of the trigeminal nerve , the fifth CN V cranial nerve. It comprises the principal functions of sensation from the maxilla , nasal cavity , sinuses , the palate and subsequently that of the mid-face, [1] and is intermediate, both in position and size, between the ophthalmic nerve and the mandibular nerve. It begins at the middle of the trigeminal ganglion as a flattened plexiform band then it passes through the lateral wall of the cavernous sinus. It leaves the skull through the foramen rotundum , where it becomes more cylindrical in form, and firmer in texture. After leaving foramen rotundum it gives two branches to the pterygopalatine ganglion. It then crosses the pterygopalatine fossa , inclines lateralward on the back of the maxilla , and enters the orbit through the inferior orbital fissure.
