Counseling: A Comprehensive Profession, 8th Edition
Of all of my books for this semester, I started to read this book last. And I think that of all of my books, it is the most informative and clear. It is basically a summary of all things counseling Samuel T. He has been a practicing counselor in both public and private community agencies. He is also the former editor of the "Journal for Specialists in Group Work. He is married to the former Claire Tilison and the father of three children--Benjamin, Nathaniel, and Timothy.

Samuel T. Gladding is a professor of counselor education and director of the counselor education program at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He has been a practicing counselor in both public and private agencies since Gladding is the former editor of the Journal for Specialists in Group Work and the author of over professional publications. Gladding's previous academic appointments have been at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Fairfield University Connecticut.
